The CD Collection 1977-1994 is the five-disc CD Box setthat accompanies the forthcoming The Vinyl 1977-1994LP box releasing exclusively for Record Store Day BlackFriday. These sets are the next installment in a series ofspecial edition products celebrating WAR’s 50+ years ofmusic making. Sharing the same tracklist of newlyremastered songs and brand new original artwork fromfamed illustrator Dave Van Patten, both sets include five of the band’s definitive albums fromthe era: Platinum Funk (1977), Galaxy (1977), The Music Band (1979), Outlaw (1982), andPeace Sign (1994). While each album is wildly different, they all contain WAR’s signaturegenre-defying sound and style.
