The Shop-Vac 4 Gallon 5.5 Peak HP Wet/Dry Vacuum with SVX2 Motor Technology comes with a more powerful motor, with longer motor life than the Shop-Vac Standard 5.5 Peak HP motor. This compact and powerful vacuum is perfect for cleaning the worst household messes. Additionally, the vacuum comes with a rear blower port that you can attach the hose to. Blow away unwanted dirt and leaves with the twist of a hose and the push of a button!

This wet/dry vacuum comes with a wide range of accessories to ensure that you have the perfect tool every time, and the onboard storage keeps them right at your fingertips. Choose from the dual-surface selector nozzle, the wet/dry nozzle, the crevice tool, the gulper nozzle or the round brush for your jobs!

To unpack your Shop-Vac, put the lid latches in an outward motion and remove the tank cover. Remove accessories and literature that may have been shipped in the tank. Attach the rear wheels and front casters following the instructions and illustrations pictured in the owner’s manual.

Before you replace the tank cover, refer to the manual to ensure that you have the proper filters installed and the inlet deflector is positioned correctly for your cleaning operation. Replace the tank cover and apply pressure with your thumbs to each latch until it snaps into place. Make sure both lids are clamped securely.

Put the long machine hose end with the locking nut into the inlet of the tank and tighten. Don’t over-tighten. Attach one of the cleaning accessories to the vacuum. Twist slightly to tighten the connection. Plug the cord into the outlet, and your Shop-Vac is ready to use!
