Morning Birds Mood Food (Avian Calming Formula) is a non-sedating anxiety and stress relief powder for nervous birds or unwanted behaviors such as chewing, screaming, aggression, and feather picking. Avian Calming Formula can also be used for stressed birds in new environments or while traveling. The formula is made from human-grade ingredients, including the amino acid L-theanine, along with B-vitamins and lethicin. L-theanine, which is found in green tea, is the calming agent. The powder has a sweet taste that all birds love and is non-toxic and non-sedating. Sprinkle the appropriate amount on your birds food (vegetables or moist seed) every 8 to 12 hours. Measurements vary depending on the birds size. Use 1/8 teaspoon (0.5 g) for small birds (Finch, Budgie), 1/4 teaspoon (1 g) for medium birds (Grey, Amazon), and 1/2 teaspoon (2 g) for large birds (Macaw, Cockatoo).
