Made in the USA This Larson Electronics Hazardous Area Fluorescent Work light is UL Listed Class 1 Division1 Groups C and D and is ideal for close quarter work and inspection activities in hazardous locations requiring explosion proof protection. This 120VAC to 12 VDC-26 watt explosion proof fluorescent work light from Larson Electronics produces 1800 lumens of fluorescent illumination and comes complete with 100 feet of explosion proof cord, an inline step down transformer, and a straight blade plug. The EPLFL-26W-P-12VI-100 fluorescent drop light uses a compact fluorescent bulb and the lamp body is constructed of high strength plastic and aluminum which helps to reduce weight and improve durability.This hazardous location hand lamp is Class 1, Division 1 and Class 2 Division 1 hazardous location environment approved. An inline step down transformer reduces the 120 VAC input to 12 volts DC. The 100 foot 12/3 SOOW cord carries the 12 volts to the explosion proof hand lamp. The inline transformer is encapsulated in a Nema compliant enclosure with an aluminum handle for portability. This 26 watt fluorescent light operates on 120 Volt current that is stepped down by an inline transformer to 12 Volts and is suitable for use in areas where petrochemical vapors and various dusts are present. The lamp creates 1,800 lumens of light, roughly equivalent to a 100 watt incandescent bulb. The bulb is backed with a white reflector which is designed to keep the light out of the operator`s eyes and focus more of the light on the subject area. Fluorescent lights are popular in paint prep, painting and post-paint inspection operations due to the even white color light produced.
